Illinois Concealed Carry (CCL) 2-Day Course
Illinois Concealed Carry License training is an Instructor-led firearm training class designed to familiarize attendees with handgun operations and safety, and meet the minimum requirements for an Illinois Concealed Carry License. The course is at least 16 hrs. of classroom presentation, plus a 1-hour shooting qualification at a local gun range. Day one focuses on major handgun components and actions, proper loading and handling, correct aiming technique, major differences in ammunition, cleaning and storage, and much more. Day two focuses on the legalities of carrying a concealed firearm in Illinois, and individual responsibilities of the licensee. Students are exposed to an array of handguns, ammo, and related equipment during the course. Strict firearms safety protocols will be observed at all times. Personal handguns and/or live ammunition are NOT allowed in the classroom.
Up to 8-hours of the CCL course may be satisfied by completing an approved firearms training course or providing proof of prior military service. (Verification of alternate training or military service must be provided to opt out of the day-one session.) If individual instruction is desired, additional one-on-one assistance is available. 3-Hr. Illinois Concealed Carry Refresher Class
This 3-hour Illinois Concealed Carry (CCL) renewal course includes a review of firearms safety fundamentals, concealment requirements, relevant portions of the Unlawful Use of Force act in defense of individuals and property, and other key legal concepts, practices, and restrictions that affect existing Concealed Carry Licensees. Shooting requalification at a local gun range is required.

NRA Personal Protection Inside the Home
The NRA Basic Personal Protection Inside the Home teaches the basic skills, knowledge, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a gun for protection of self and family, and on an individual’s right to self-defense. Students will learn defensive shooting skills; strategies for home safety; how to best handle a violent confrontation; firearms and the law; how to choose a handgun for self-defense; and about opportunities for further skills improvement.

NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home
The NRA Basic Personal Protection Outside the Home provides the knowledge, skills and attitude needed for safe and responsible use of a concealed pistol for self-defense. The course is divided into two levels. Level I is 9-Hrs. and covers the essential knowledge and skills needed to carry, store, and use a firearm for personal protection outside the home. Level II requires an additional 5-Hrs. on the range and uses approximately 200 rounds of ammunition to learn advanced shooting skills.

NRA Defensive Pistol
The NRA Defensive Pistol course is focused on developing advanced shooting capabilities to supplement CCW training, NRA Personal Protection in the Home and Personal Protection Outside the Home classes, and enhanced defensive pistol shooting skills.
